Join your local jeweler for a day of fun in collaboration with the Humane Society!
Dunkirk, MD, October 7, 2017 - Dickinson Jewelers is honored to partner with the Humane Society of Calvert County for their third annual pet adoption event. Pets looking for their forever home will be available for adoption between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Dickinson Jewelers has committed to pay half of the total adoption fee for the first three pets adopted. Donate $10 to the Humane Society and get a delicious cupcake! Pick a lucky cupcake and you could discover a prized diamond or gem inside! Free photos of you and your pet as well as popcorn and prizes will be available. Leading up to this event Dickinson Jewelers will be collecting supplies to donate to the Humane Society. They are seeking creamy peanut better, canned dog food, Kongs, disinfecting wipes, paper towels, laundry soap, squeaky toys and tug toys, dryer sheets, hand sanitizer and milkbones. Items for donation can be dropped off at either store location the week before the event as well as the day of the event, Saturday, October 7th.
Details: Dickinson Jewelers in Dunkirk (next to Safeway) and Prince Frederick (next to the Library) invites the public to join The Humane Society of Calvert County on Saturday, October 7th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Adoptions between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
