Many of us have seen the old Pinterest tip of putting a straw on one end of your necklace to prevent tangles. While this works on delicate chains, it can become challenging when your jewelry is a bit more intricate. Another grocery store standby can solve this problem: Glad Press and Seal! This material, reminiscent of wax paper, sticks to itself when stretched and then pressed. This makes it simple to keep your jewelry safe. Simply cut one piece, lay your jewelry on it, and stretch an additional piece on top. This will keep your jewelry from being able to move and tangle while in your suitcase.
Tip 2: Repurpose Household Materials
Traveling with lots of smaller pieces? Whether you’re bringing cuff links or earrings to your final destination, you can keep those matched sets together using a simple weekly pill container. These containers can be easily purchased at Walmart, Safeway, or drug stores and are the perfect size to store smaller pieces of jewelry that you don’t want separated. Tip 3: Don’t Lose Your Dangle
